meetings has been updated!
Over 80 hours of activities will be posted to the
block schedule. The complete program list, block
schedule and presenter bios will be published in the
Ham-Com Flyer on May 19, 2008.

Admission Pricing
General admission
tickets can be purchased online for $8.00.
Family member tickets are $6.00. Admission tickets
are valid for both days of the event. Student tickets
(K-12 or Scouts in uniform) are FREE and will
be available at the door. Tickets purchased at
the event will be $10.00 at the door ($7.00 for
family members).

Indoor flea market
tables are sold out! There is
still plenty of space left in the outdoor flea
market and tailgate areas. Outdoor flea market
tables are $27.00 each (two days; includes one
(1) general admission per table*). There is a
five (5) table limit per purchaser (no exceptions,
please). Click on the red "Admission" tab above to
purchase.
The tailgate market in
the west parking lot will again be managed by the
Plano and McKinney Amateur Radio clubs. The
price is $8.00 per space, per day.
* One (1) general
admission ticket must be purchased per table.

Noted Author and DXer
Added To Speaker List
Ward Silver,
N0AX, author of "Ham Radio for Dummies" and
long-time DXer has been added to the speaker list.
His latest book , "Circuitbuilding for Dummies - Do
It Yourself," went on sale in February. Coy Day, N5OK, ARRL West Gulf Division Manager made
the QSO and set things up. Ward is a
contributing editor for QST.

He has been licensed
since 1972 and has received two QST cover plaques
for his contributions to the magazine. In 2003 he was awarded
the Bill Orr Technical Writing Award. Ward
stays busy as a member of the
ARRL's
Contest Advisory Committee and as a director of the
YASME Foundation. He was a member of the
2005 Kure Island K7C DXpedition.
