The Lone Star DX
Association is pleased to sponsor the 2010 W5DXCC DX Dinner in
conjunction with Ham-Com. The dinner will be Friday evening, June 11, at
the Plano Centre in the Windhaven Room. This is the same location as
2009. The DX dinner program for the 2010 W5DXCC will be the 2009 K4M Midway Island DXpedition. Midway Island was on the very rare most needed DXCC entity worldwide list. Tom Harrell, N4XP, will present what promises to be a very interesting program. Several major door prizes will be given away again this year including a Yaesu FT-2000-1 and products from Force 12 and Array Solutions. A complete list will be available on the LSDXA Web site (www.dxer.org) as soon as prizes are firmed up. The evening will begin with a cash hospitality bar in the Plano Centre from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Dinner activities will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. This year we will have a served meal of Char-Broil Prime Rib with salad, rolls, baked potato, seasoned vegetables, and cheesecake for desert. A vegetarian option will be available upon request. Reserved seating for groups will be available. Please email requests for group seating and/or the vegetarian option to Rick, N0RB at rick-AT-crcwireless.net (replace -AT- with "@" symbol). A gathering afterwards in the bar area at the Abuelo’s Restaurant will be available for more dx/contest conversation. Chips and dips will be served.
The ticket price is $42.00 and can be purchased on the Ham-Com Web site, www.hamcom.org. or by sending your check to Rick Barnett, N0RB.
